Dawn takes an active role in your care in a welcoming environment. She takes the time to listen and understand providing feedback and direction as needed. Her strong diagnostic skills allow her to analyze and assess people, situations and outcomes.

Dawn forms a team with the client to map a course of care. She sees herself as a guide providing direction and insight toward healing.

She truly loves to teach others what she has learned and finds doing so very rewarding. She has been in practice as a therapist since 1992, always keeping up to date on current therapies and models.

She has extensive experience in Employee Assistance work and mandatory referrals, alcohol and drug workplace problems, with the credentials to address DOT SAP assessments. She is able to analyze complex problems for solutions and understands EAP duel relationship issues.

As a Certified EMDR Therapist,  she uses  Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) which is a technique for the rapid emotional processing of trauma, sexual abuse and addictions.  This technique is also used to heal childhood wounds.

Dawn received a Master’s Degree in Social Work from UW-Milwaukee. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Substance Abuse Counselor.

Praise for Dawn's work:

“Dawn was a great help to me and I appreciate it.”

“Dawn was amazing!  I felt hopeless before therapy.  She helped me so much… in fact, I feel like she gave me my life back.  The concern and care she shared was comforting and I am so thankful.  I have been able to move on with my life, and I can’t thank her enough!”
